Maze Runners Consulting, a personal brand enterprise founded by Dr. Elizabeth (Betsy) Eubanks, is a platform for helping people through applied organizational psychology. Since 2002, Maze Runners Consulting (MRC) has provided hands-on consulting services to help people, teams, and organizations be successful. Not content with just helping larger organizations, which is most often who can afford professional consultation services, MRC rebranded and is adding an online, self-help resource to help anyone achieve goals, work smarter and be more successful. These self-guided learning modules are called “Playbooks” and the first two are available with more coming in 2025.
We can help you enjoy what you do and reach your work goals. Explore Maze Runner Consulting services to see how we make work a game you win.

The path to the creation of Maze Runners Consulting started at the University of California in Berkeley. From student employee during undergraduate work through several job levels of increasing breadth, Betsy rose to the position of Director of Parking and Transportation. The experience of running a large, self-funded department ignited her quest to study organizations to make them better places to work. Betsy began Maze Runners Consulting in 2002 as a way to work with a range of clients and industries. Betsy develops personalized solutions to client concerns by applying theoretical concepts like organizational lifecycle, innovation diffusion, and hermeneutics of communication to organizational problems.
Betsy has expertise in collaborative learning. She earned her Master’s Degree in Management and Organizational Transformation through John F. Kennedy University in a cohort model program. She then attended a pioneering collaborative learning doctoral program called the Pacific Learning Community at the Professional School of Psychology. She received her Doctorate in Organizational Psychology, completing her dissertation work in crisis management. She is certified as an Executive Coach from the Center of Executive Coaching, is a Professional Project Manager (PMI), and teaches Communications courses at Montana State University Gallatin College.
Besides the passion of helping people at work, Betsy is an active Scouter, currently overseeing Training and Communications for Mountain Valley District, is a Wilderness First Aid Course Director, and a Special Olympics coach. All this is fueled by a love of good books and coffee.
